The opportunity

ULE was an emerging festival concept aiming to raise the capital to launch a two-day music and arts event at Children's Mercy Park.

The founders had the vision, the artist relationships, and the venue partnership, but needed a pitch system that translated that raw ambition into something investors could trust.

The challenge was simple: turn an early idea into a fully framed business case capable of raising real capital inside a crowded and high-risk entertainment market.

What we built

We developed the full investment narrative and visual system that became the backbone of the raise.

  • the end to end pitch deck
  • financial visualization and growth projections
  • investor framing and market analysis
  • festival identity direction
  • branded collateral for ticketing, merch, and credentials
  • stage concepts and on-site creative
  • all supporting design material needed for investor meetings

The goal was clarity. Investors needed to see feasibility, operational structure, and upside with zero ambiguity.

The outcome

The deck became the primary tool used to secure the raise, and it worked: it closed $1.5 million in capital commitments to launch the festival. Investors got a clean view of the opportunity, the cost structure, the projected revenue model, and the five-year path to scale, and the materials gave the founders a level of polish and credibility that matched the venue and the artists they were pursuing.

The event itself did not launch, due to production and logistical factors outside the scope of the branding and pitch work. But the deliverables hit their objective. They raised the $1.5 million required to announce the festival, contract a major stadium, secure national headliners, and move into pre-production.
